Dark Alley is number 1 right now with a 1663 Guild rating, which is quite respectable. but I was wondering what the highest guild Rating any guild has managed to get was (And Which Guild). Anyone know or have a screenshot of it?

Check the historical ladders on the guild wars site. I see two where The Last Pride [EvIL] had 1902.

I believe Team Union broke 2k in the initial ladder. They used to have it preserved on the main page, I don't know where it is any more.

In the beginning you also go 20+ ratingpoints after beating up a good guild in a normal fight. Getting that kind of rating now without AT's/mAT's is unlikely.

Since the most recent reset (resulting in K value of 5 for normal matches), I think rawr had the highest rating (around 1730?) before it got deleted. DF got close to 1700 during their peak before it got Mexicaned.

I remember a guild having around 2000 rating (probably during the middle of the season), but the highest I can find is EvIL right now.

What's really retarded is that there's so many inactive guilds in the top 20 on the ladder. Be team, aS, DF at number 3 (wtf) etc etc. Previously you'd drop like a stone after even a day's inactivity, but now you can just pretty much grind your way to a high rank and then sell in the knowledge that you really won't drop very far.

Yeah, pretty much the more you play, the more likely it is you'll tank down. If you don't, you're guaranteed a high spot. If sup didn't play after May mAT, they'd still be #1 I think.

So many games use the ELO rating system its confusing, i think i remember 2100+ rating guild on the ladder not sure if it was WM or someone else.

Its a shame that Anet doesnt get more involved with removing dead and sold guilds from the ladder, i really dont understand why DF and eF still have a gold capes even tho everyone knows that there isnt a single capable player left in the guild.

actually i think that it would be better if they removed all the gold capes, except for the guild that is current #1 on the ladder AND would be the winner of the monthly, thus reducing the guilds being sold and shit like that, cuz its rly dumb, when guild like DF get sold, and eF got sold like 5 times alrdy i think....

I seem to recall ZPZG breaking 1900 at one point as well. It was a different ballpark tho, with 15 point matches, no tournaments, and periodic resets.

The best records on the ladder I can recall were EP smurf (like 118-1), cow at the beginning of this reset (129-4), and I remember one of the iQ smurfs getting like 100-5 or so. The korean guilds of the past had great rating, but also lost to each other often.
